Why do I keep forgetting to post on here? *sigh*

This post is dedicated to my new found love of going to gigs. (yes, I finally became a real student. Restrain your shock)

My first ever gig was last year, about this time, and was by Rooster supported by the Upper Room. At this point, most of my friends laugh. I liked them a lot and still do, in fact (more on that later).

Anyway, my second gig wasn't really for me. It was for Huw and his friend Giles treated him to see The Divine Comedy (supported by Duke Special) This is this best one I've gone to - loved every minute of it. Duke Special was crazy (really want his album now) with a piano and Neil Hannon is just mad. He's a real performer - 'To Die A Virgin' and 'The Plough' were especially cool. Would definitely see them again.

Right, my third gig was the following Monday and was by The Automatic supported by Viva Machine and the alterkicks. They were on late (10pm!) and the support acts were largely forgettable. They were brilliant, really electric, though only played 45minutes cos of their lack of material. Their version of Goldigger was priceless though.

And my fourth gig was last night and was by Rooster supported by get Amped (very emo, very funny). They were brilliant again, really energetic and with the crowd. Nick (the fit lead singer) smiled at me!! SQUEE! (yes, I am a little girl). They encored with 'Come Get Some' and 'Good to Be Here', which made me very happy. I really hope they tour again.

And voila! Aren't I a busy girl?
